Industry Meets Education: BSC Indonesia Participates in UTAS Fireside Chat 2026

BSC Indonesia proudly participated in the “Fireside Chat” event hosted by University of Tasmania (UTAS), Ultimo Study Centre on Wednesday, 13 May 2026, bringing together students and industry professionals to bridge the gap between education and the professional world.

Held at the UTAS Ultimo Study Centre in Sydney, the session featured experienced speakers from the fields of Business, Finance, Banking, and IT who shared practical insights about career development, industry expectations, and future workplace trends.

Representing BSC Indonesia, Erwin Soehendra joined as one of the panelists, sharing valuable perspectives on IT & Digital Strategy, personal branding, and career readiness in today’s highly competitive digital industry.

During the discussion, Pak Erwin highlighted the importance of:
• Building a strong personal brand through platforms such as LinkedIn and professional portfolios
• Demonstrating technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit during recruitment processes
• Understanding current hiring trends and industry expectations for young IT professionals

The event also provided students with opportunities to engage directly with the panelists through interactive Q&A sessions and networking activities, allowing participants to gain real-world insights from industry practitioners.

BSC Indonesia appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the development of future professionals and support initiatives that connect education with industry needs.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with educational institutions and empowering students with practical industry knowledge for their future careers.
